ABOUT KATY
Promoting Vibrant Health, Through Nutritional Healing.
In Service to what is possible in Health.
Since 2000, I have had a passion and curiosity for holistic health. When I became a Massage Therapist in 2003, I continued my studies in Health and Nutrition Coaching, Yoga, Meditation, and Energy work because over the years, I found myself working with people who were ready to make big breakthroughs with their health.
I saw a huge need for expanding my scope of practice after having helped clients find freedom from pain, create ease of movement, and better peace of mind with the follow-up care I provided them after appointments. Our sessions always led to questions about how to sustain that feeling of balance in the body for long-term enjoyment. Questions like what stretches should I do? What food is good for decreasing inflammation or helping me to sleep better? Is there a good stress management technique I can use in the middle of my workday? It was in helping my clients with these nuanced details.
Then in 2015, I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. At that time, I took my prior 15 years of holistic healthcare knowledge and became my science lab, one in which I would heal myself from this disease. After years of leading people to understand better integrated holistic and functional health and the importance of regular self-care, It was time to take my advice. When the body is fed the right things on and off the plate, it will heal and return to a healthy balance. My journey transcended what I could help others do to what I could help myself do. I had a choice… I could let MS be my story or let it be the platform to step into my strength. I became my health coach and turned everything back on myself, from diet and exercise to self-care, radically changing my life.
With my newfound strength and profound insight gained from firsthand experience of the power of healing, I help inform and guide my clients to transform their lives, to see, feel, and live the reality of their health goals come to fruition from a place of deep listening and compassion, one that inspires and brings out the inner strength that fuels what is possible in health and wellness.

I love my life! Feeling through the blessings that come my way, both simple and grand. When not in the office, I enjoy time with my family, traveling outdoors, hiking and exploring, and creating memories and connections over games and puzzles. I help support the National MS Society by captaining a Walk MS Team and a Bike MS team. I love to host and feed the people I love. Gardening and Cooking are big passions of mine, I am always looking for tasty things to ferment, or creating new dishes with fresh spices and colorful ingredients especially from the garden or local farmers market.
My favorite thing to do that feeds my soul and brings great peace to my heart is to do what I call “catching the silence,” finding the stillness, that pearl of silence that is ever present if we are willing to stop, with no words, just deep connection to breath and take in the moment that is unfolding before us. It's in that place of stillness within the commotion of life where we are truly witnessing the magic and gift unfolding around us.
“Stopping, calming & resting are the preconditions to healing.
